Mintaka is a support library intented to provide instrumentation support to other components (like the NANOS runtime). 

Mintaka provides the following features:

• State tracing
• Discrete event tracing
• Supports user-defined events
• Multi-threaded support
• PAPI support for hardware counters

Mintaka uses the Paraver format to generate traces.
